<description>As dissatisfaction with credit card companies has grown, consumers have been overwhelmingly turning to debit cards as a better alternative. Debit cards are now used more often than credit cards but the one thing that's been missing until now is a debit card that delivers meaningful rewards.

I work for PerkStreet Financial and I wanted to let readers know that next month, we'll be introducing an online checking account that delivers more debit card rewards than a credit card with no annual fee and no minimum balance requirement. Customers may choose between earning 1% cash back, free music or free coffee. We believe that people who choose to spend responsibly on debit - versus credit - deserve to be rewarded.
