Get More with Discover summer savings
Summer is here and so are savings from Discover Card! As many parts of the country have already reached triple-digit temperatures, others get to enjoy the long summer days with cooler evenings. With summer vacations and travel ahead, spending more money on gas or on hotel stays at your favorite hotel seems to be inevitable. To help get you excited for that much anticipated summer vacation, Discover Card offers additional savings on purchases made at gas stations and hotels that accept Discover credit cards.
Beginning July 1st, 2008 and running through September 30th, 2008, Discover Card is offering a 5% cash back bonus on its Cash Back Bonus category for gasoline and hotel purchases. Discover Card’s Cash Back Bonus categories change four times a year and allow cardholders to earn cash back bonuses on top categories like travel, home, gas, restaurants, movies and more. The bonus category coincides closely with purchases you are more likely to make during that time of year to earn the most cash back with your Discover Card.
Every time you use your Discover credit card between July 1st and September 30th, you’ll earn a 5% cash back bonus on all your gas and hotel purchases up to $400 each month. Any other purchases made during the month will earn 1% cash back with no limit or restrictions on the amount you can earn. You must be a Discover More cardholder to participate in the Cash Back Bonus program. A Discover More card includes the following list of credit cards from Discover.
