Happy 4th of July!
For me there are few holidays that stir the emotions like the 4th of July. Our family has had a long line of active military service since World War I where my great-grandfather served. I have not served in any military capacity to this date, but I still feel a great sense of pride and patriotism for this country and what it stands for. I believe my pride and patriotism comes from that line of military service.
I want to wish everyone and their families a Happy 4th of July! I also want to extend a special appreciation to members of all the Armed Forces and their families who currently serve in Iraqi, Afghanistan and throughout the world. I am grateful to them and their willingness to sacrifice their lives, if necessary, to serve in whichever capacity and location in the world they have been called to. Our hearts and thoughts are with you, especially today.
